We Are Living Prayers
A teacher said yesterday that our lives are our daily prayers. Somehow
this struck a chord with me. It reinforced something I had been trying
to understand for many years, that they way we lead our lives is some-
thing very sacred. It is incumbent upon us to live thoughtfully, to
live kindly with good intentions to all, to believe that we are walking
with God every step of our lives. Prayers are, then, not something that
just goes from our spirit to God, but something that permeates our very
being. We are a walking, living prayer and we must live sacredly if
we are to reach God.
