What is implanted in each of us?

Someone once said about a person who, at a time of drunkenness, spoke hurtful, hateful words that ‘’In all of us there are seeds that have been implanted by others.’’ He was saying, in effect, that the people we grow up to become are shaped, in large part, by others who raised us or influenced us when we were young. Such ‘’implanted’’ seeds can be for our good or bad.
Think for a moment.
What seeds were planted in you when you were young, and what eventually grew? What didn’t take root?
And what seeds are you planting in others for their future? What do you hope you will bring forth from your sowing?
Please share your thoughts with us.
