WRITER PROMPT: One Day in the Life of Another Person

Three children in different parts of the world wake up one morning, each expecting the day to be like all the others. For one, in Mexico, this will turn into the most important day of her life; for another, in China, the day will be the happiest she will ever experience in her life, and for the third, in Chicago, this will become his saddest one. Write one of the children’s diaries for the day.

    Chicago, Jan. 1 1970
Today started like any other day, that is untill I heard a small wempering sound comeing from the my pearents room.my mom was curld up crying in the corner of her room. She didn’t even notice me when I asked if she was alright. I went into to hallway. I knew right away what had happend.Mom and Dad had fights, but never this bad . It was a Saterday. Usually my dads 67 beat up corvret was in the drive way and the smell of freanch toast filled the air, but not this Saterday. This Saterday the drive way only had two tire skid marks on the concreat, the only smell in the house was the smell of my moms perfume that had been broken, shatters of the glass from my dads favorite mug were on the floor. I try to clean up the mess so that it does not remined my mother that my father left today.

    Hey

I have 3 jobs, 4 kids, an ex husband, a loan to the bank, and so many days left till the next payday, but even so my 15 minutes of free time…I spend it daily on pleasant online news and till this day you never made me loose interest.

I’m greatful for sweetening my daily routine. Yeah, unpleasant period but all of you remember that we need joy also in our lives.

    Later!
