In recent days I heard the expressions ”hall of shame” and ”wall of shame” and wondered about them. What do they mean? What would one place in a hall of shame or hang on a wall of shame.
Would this be the personal things which we have done in our lives and which we feel bad about, or would it be things about the world, such as war or pollution, that horrify us and which we want to call attention t as perhaps a first step to change them.
