If you think we're the most violent society then just look at some of the third world countries where children carry guns and fight in wars! or where Arabs brainwash their youths into strapping bombs to themselves to blow innocents up! We may idolize power and violence but just think of nature. A society of lions practically worships the alpha male because they know he can fight off any foe and protect their young. It's in our nature to respect strength and power Far from it.
