From Anthony: I really enjoy your work. It influences me. I have one question for you..... what got you into this field?
Dear Anthony, I wrote most of my books which appear on this site as a way of dealing with problems in my life and to try to find a way to solve them and ease the pain I felt at times. For example, when my brother was dying, I started writing my book LifeLines (see Find Hope section on this site) to deal all that I was feeling in losing him and to find some comfort. In writing Make Beliefs (see Let's Make Believe! section) I was trying to find a way to deal with my sister's sickness, and I started imagining what it would be like to live in a better, different world. But some of my work is also based on joy, too. I wrote my book DOGMAS: Simple Truth From a Wise Pet (see Animal Wisdom section) just because I loved my dog, Dynamite, and she made me so happy and taught me so much.
In all the work I do, I believe in the power of using our imaginations to think more creatively and help free our spirit.
I hope this answers your question and it's not too long-winded. What are the things that give you hope?
